ABOUT KATHLEEN
Kathleen is a coach and consultant who works with ministry leaders and their teams. She serves her clients as a type of Sherlock Holmes faith-community detective, searching for the clues, answers, and solutions to move them to a more effective and vibrant ministry.
Female faith leaders hire me to unleash the fire of God’s love in their ministry because most are refereeing conflict, dealing with scarcity of time or money – not to mention being in a rut.
I help them light the fire of their ministry to generate collaboration, innovation and celebration to get results and serve with God’s love in all that they do.
As an ordained minister for over 35 years, Kathleen knows the problems that ministers and community leaders have working together and living their mission. She has worked with amazing faith staffs and congregation leaders with similar worries and concerns.
One of these involved a congregation going through a major conflict that had the potential to split the congregation. With Kathleen’s help and guidance, the church council and congregation navigated the conflict to resolution and remained together.
In addition to her years of parish ministry serving in small to very large congregations, Kathleen has completed 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education; is certified by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America as a chaplain in both hospital and long-term care facilities; was the interim chaplain at a large, multi-level retirement community; was a field education supervisor for seminary students for 14 years; hosted the Aflame Ministry Consulting Show on EmpireRadioNow; has been interviewed twice on CUTVNews Radio, once by Doug Llewelyn and once by Jim Masters; and is a Fascinate Certified Advisor.
Starting on Oct. 31, 2017, Kathleen became the host of Aflame Ministry on boldbravemedia.com and is also heard on TuneIn Radio (search for BBM Global Network), iheart radio and iTunes.
Kathleen’s mission and commitment is to help you grow a faith-community that lives the love and grace of God. To do this more effectively Kathleen has been trained to help people discover their own God-given gifts and their faith community’s mission.
